She is without a doubt someone who has a unique gift in writing in a really original musical style, with stunning emotionally driven ballads combined with catchy more up tempo numbers - her lyrics are written only as a singer themself could write. They match the music and phrase, are memorable, clever, and admirably in sync with the music and the dramatic intent.
